Compact Patio & Fire Pit

Small backyard, big ambitions. The trick here was resisting the urge to build a large pit, which would have made the seating geometry impossible. A 36-inch pit with 32 inches of clearance to the chairs fit the space exactly, leaving room for a small dining zone at the house side. Proof that a modest budget and a modest lot still produce a patio the family uses every weekend.
