Pelham, NH · Completed 2025
The pavers were in excellent condition. The base underneath them was four inches of unwashed bank-run gravel, never compacted in lifts. The whole field had dished toward the middle. We lifted and palletized every paver in order, excavated the failed base to proper depth, and rebuilt with processed gravel compacted in three lifts over separation fabric. The original pavers went back down in the same pattern with new edge restraint and modern polymeric joint sand. Perfect color match, correct pitch, and a patio that will now behave for decades.
