The homeowners had paid for this wall in 2020. By 2025 it had rotated out three inches at the top and separated at the corner.
Our inspection point found native soil backfilled straight against the block face — no clean stone, no drain pipe, no geogrid. Nothing about the front of the wall was the problem.
We took it down, kept every reusable block, excavated the reinforced zone, and rebuilt it properly. Same look, different structure, and it carries our 5-year workmanship warranty.
